Dr. Christine Beliard is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has trained hundreds of therapists as a professor and supervisor. Dr. Beliard earned her PhD in Family Therapy from The Florida State University, her Master’s in Family Therapy from The University of Houston - Clear Lake, and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Spelman College.
Her work centers on the influence of historical and present-day racial trauma on communities of color. She is committed to social justice and the provision of relevant mental health services to families through best practices in training and service delivery.
Dr. Beliard serves as a consultant, trainer, and board member for a host of organizations that align with her areas of expertise. Dr. Beliard is also a regular correspondent and content expert on television programs. She has been featured on Fox, TVOne, and her work has been cited in several news articles and published books.
